Young Golf Prodigy Prince Robert Kahisime Triumphs at Namibia Ambassadors Golf Day

In a remarkable display of talent and skill, 13-year-old golf sensation Prince Robert Kahisime emerged victorious at the Namibia Ambassadors Golf Day in Windhoek. Kahisime, an emerging star in the golfing world, clinched the top spot with a remarkable gross of 42 points, surpassing seasoned competitors Mosimanegape Lekopanye, Dignity Moyo, and Evelyn Paulin. The event, organized by CMG International Media Group, was held at the prestigious Windhoek Golf and Country Club and featured both Namibian and Zimbabwean players.

This year’s event marked the second edition of the Namibia Ambassadors Golf Day, following the successful launch of the South African edition in Johannesburg last month. Bringing together talents from different countries, the tournament embodies the unifying spirit of sport, fostering networking and collaboration across borders.

Zimbabwe’s ambassador to Namibia, Melody Chaurura, praised initiatives like the Ambassador Golf Day for their role in promoting unity and bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds. Chaurura reiterated her government’s commitment to engaging with the diaspora and embracing progressive ideas and initiatives.

Conrad Mwanza, the Managing Director of CMG International Media Group, highlighted the significance of the event in Namibia, emphasizing its potential to unite and showcase talent. He emphasized the event’s role in providing a platform for talent to shine while fostering development among all stakeholders.

CMG International Media Group’s vision extends beyond this tournament, as they plan to create a “Pro-Am” mini-tour, building on their successful launch in South Africa. The tour will span three more territories before culminating at the Global Zimbabwe Network in Dubai in November, offering a promising future for golf and sports enthusiasts worldwide.
